these trucks, and the ships themselves are unbelievably big. On
average I climb up 50-60 stairs to get from the ground to the main deck
of a ship. However there are some that are even bigger than that. One
ship in particular I pulled up to and looking up I couldn't even see
people on board. In order to get to the crews mess room I had to climb
85 steps from the ground to the main deck then up two more flights of
stairs. This ship was also the length of about 3 ¼ football fields and had
25 crew on board. 25 crew members are operating this floating high
rise. The most amazing thing is that crews are getting smaller and
smaller and ships are getting bigger and bigger. There may be one day
where a ship double this size is manned by 10 people.
