cannot get to shore due to factors such as time restrictions and port
locations. Imagine being stuck on a huge ship, only ocean around you,
seeing the same faces for ten months. Personally, I would go insane.
That is why giving the seafarers an opportunity to come to shore is so
important.
On Wednesdays I visit ships in the container terminal in Kwai
Chung. While visiting ships in the anchorage is a bit more relaxed, the
container terminal is organized chaos. Trucks with containers on the
back are everywhere trying to get to the next ship on time. Cranes 15
