believed in it or not. This same love for all people has been an
incredible part of my experience with the Mission to Seafarers. I
remember one day in particular talking to an Indian cook. I had been
on the ship a few times before and this man had always been a bit
reserved. He would hold back a bit, buy a sim card or calling card, and
go back to preparing the days lunch. On this particular day though,
lunch had finished and he sat down next to me and just started talking.
Being a Hindu he was very interested in Christianity and I was honestly
very interested in Hinduism. We ended up spending two hours talking
about our own faiths! We compared and contrasted different aspects
of our faith and came to the conclusion that neither of us were going to
